Sharon graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Archaeology from Bournemouth University followed by an MSc in Professional Archaeology at Oxford. She began working at Oxford Archaeology in 2005 as a member of the fieldwork team before moving sideways to become a member of the Environmental team, and eventually one of the Archaeobotanists in the team. 

She has a particular interest in the Roman period but generally is interested in the interplay between the natural environment and cultivated and managed landscapes. She is a member of the Association of Archaeology. 

Adam has nearly 20 years' experience in professional archaeology in Britain. After starting as a commercial field archaeologist he graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2001 with a First Class BA in Archaeology and Prehistory, followed by an MA in European Prehistory at the University of Wales, Cardiff, and then undertook research into middle Neolithic pottery at Sheffield University, gaining his PhD in 2013.

Adam is an experienced archaeologist, having worked at multiple commercial companies including PCA, MOLAS, and ARCUS, and then as a Project Officer at our Lancaster office. His portfolio as a project manager includes a large landscape project at Newark, medieval excavations at Carlisle Cathedral and post-medieval and industrial sites near Manchester. He has undertaken post-excavation work, including specialist analysis and report production relating to prehistoric pottery, and has contributed to several peer review articles in this capacity.

Adam is in the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (ACIfA) and a member of both the Prehistoric Society and Prehistoric Ceramic Research Group.

Andy has worked in commercial archaeology since 2007 after graduating from the University of York with a BA in Archaeology. He has a diverse range of experience, having worked for a number of other British companies before joining Oxford Archaeology in 2012.  

Whilst he has experience directing sites of all periods, Andy has a particular interest in Late Iron Age and Roman archaeology having excavated significant sites of these periods at Grange Paddocks, Bishops Stortford (Hertfordshire) and Tye Green, Cressing (Essex). Andy also has significant experience directing medieval and post-medieval excavations in urban settings including Huntingdon, Cambridge and Norwich. 

As a Senior Project Manager, Andy is responsible for delivering projects to high standards from conception to completion, liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders (including clients, consultants, curators, contractors, local communities and the media). Andy’s portfolio of major fieldwork projects includes large-scale mixed use developments such as the Wellcome Genome Campus expansion, Hinxton (Cambridgeshire), and major infrastructure schemes such as those for Anglian Water’s Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).  

As Training Manager at our Cambridge office, Andy oversees the training and progression of all fieldwork staff from Graduate Trainee to Supervisor level.   

Andy is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (MCIfA). 

Antony has worked in archaeology since the early 1990s and has a BA in Archaeology and Prehistory and an MA in Landscape Archaeology from Sheffield University. He worked on a variety of commercial projects across the north of England before joining Oxford Archaeology in 2010 as a Project Officer, Post-excavation.  

Antony is a lithic specialist and has undertaken the analysis of assemblages from Oxford Archaeology excavations including Stainton West, Carlisle, Cumbria and Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man. He has research interests in Mesolithic and Neolithic lithic assemblages from north-west Britain. He also specialises in wetland archaeology and has participated in several evaluations and excavations and their subsequent post-excavation. He was a lead archaeologist on the Windy Harbour to Skippool road improvement scheme in North Lancashire and is currently involved in the post-excavation of the project.  

Becky has worked for Oxford Archaeology as a Project Officer since 2013. She has been the Oxford Regional Health, Safety and Environment Advisor since 2021 and has been a Health and Safety Advisor since 2020. She is the Lead Mental Health First Aider for Oxford Archaeology's Oxford office and sits on the Wellbeing Committee. She divides her time between running fieldwork projects and her health and safety roles and also organises the outreach activities for the Oxford office. She lead the multiple fieldwork phases at Innsworth and Twigwoth, Gloucestershire, consisting largely of Iron Age and Roman settlements from 2018 to 2022. 

Becky lead the Outreach programme for the British Archaeology Award winning Westgate Oxford development, which involved organising the popular Pop Up Museum, schools visits, open days and website. She has presented papers about the success of the Pop Up Museum as a public engagement activity at a number of organisations including the annual conference of the European Association of Archaeology in Maastricht. 

She is an Associate (ACIfA) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
