Oxford Archaeology was invited by Brookes University to set up and run a week long course on heritage management, conservation and cultural tourism development for Vietnamese cultural heritage professionals. The comprehensive course was designed by OA to fit the needs of the Vietnamese heritage professionals and included lectures on governance and international law and best practice, cultural heritage and environmental management, heritage-led regeneration, World Heritage and cultural tourism development. In collaboration with Oxford Preservation Trust a case study was carried out looking at the heritage development at Oxford Castle.
