Oxford Archaeology is extremely concerned about the COVID-19 Pandemic and its potential impact on our business, our staff and the public we come into contact with.
We are keen to play our part in keeping the country safe. As measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic have escalated dramatically, we have been working tirelessly to keep abreast of Government guidance and ensure that our staff, clients, consultants, suppliers, volunteers and community contacts are kept informed of the rapidly changing situation.
The stringent and necessary Government requirements for hygiene and social distancing have important implications for the way we carry out our work, and OA has been working closely with Prospect trade union to adjust working practices and facilitate working from home as far as practicable. Following the joint OA Prospect COVID-19 Safe Working Statement, issued on 25 March 2020, we are continuing our site operations where safe to do so, and are monitoring this situation on a daily basis.
Our offices are open, but are closed to visitors, and all of our public engagements are on hold for the foreseeable future. We are maintaining regular contact remotely, however, and can be reached using our usual contact details.
