10th February 2021:
Join us and our panel of distinguished experts as we explain and discuss the extraordinary findings of the Windy Harbour road scheme in Lancashire.
Archaeological investigations along the route, which were commissioned by Highways England and Kier Highways, have uncovered nationally significant late Mesolithic and Neolithic sequences, including middens, hearths, house structures and well-preserved organic remains.
Tune in on Friday 19th February for a video introducing the project, a site tour, an overview of the finds and initial thoughts from our panellists.
Then, on Saturday 27th February at 11am, join us and our panellists for a live question and answer session and a chance for you to quiz our panel.
More information can be found on our dedicated Windy Harbour Research Seminar page, where you will be able to view the video. Information about how to join the Q&A will also be posted on that page nearer the time.
