OA East offers a wide range of services and resources to schools and other organisations to promote access to the heritage and archaeology of Cambridgeshire.

As an organisation that has worked within the education sector for many years, we can offer a wide range of opportunities based both in and out of school. Work experience and volunteering opportunities can also be provided for students.

Archaeology is a cross-curricular subject covering aspects of History, English, Geography, Art and Design, Mathematics, Technology and Science. It is also a subject with which all ages groups can engage with and enjoy. OA East can provide and support a broad range of opportunities, from illustrated talks to ‘hands on’ activity sessions. These services can be provided in a wide variety of environments, including schools and colleges, as well as youth and community organisations. OA East can also provide a range of resources for independent use that can be linked to the National Curriculum.
