Research and publication

Every year Oxford Archaeology publishes more academic and specialist reports than any other heritage organisation in the UK

You need the results quickly, either to feed in to your planning application or to discharge your condition. While archaeological analysis and reporting still takes time our dedicated team of researchers are focussed on helping you to meet your targets

Our team produce high quality reports, rapidly, using the latest digital technologies. Whether it's a small evaluation or watching brief, or a large city centre excavation, we will work to produce the report to your timetable.

Our output ranges from specialist technical reports (so called 'grey' literature), through academic journal articles and major monograph publications to a wide variety of more popular products including booklets and brochures.

Beyond traditional reporting we can help you make the most of the PR opportunities that archaeology can present using our extensive contacts in print, radio and TV.
